Insurance
Navigating dental insurance can be difficult and we want to make this journey as easy as possible for you. Many patients with dental insurance are not aware that fee for service dentistry enables you to choose the dentist you want for your treatment, rather than be restricted to those dentists in your network. Dr. Viner made the decision at the start of his practice to put the oral health of his patients first, not the quotas set by insurance companies. Dr. Viner strives for customized, personalized dentistry in his home away from home. For more information on how to maximize your dental benefits, please call our office today at 561-367-9922.
For Your Comfort
Technology:
Jade Medical Grade Air Purifiers
Located in the reception area and each operatory, the Jade Air Purification System provides 6-Stages of filtration including proprietary HEPA-Rx ultrafine filtration. The multi-state filtration system captures air pollutants, filtering 99.998% of particles down to 0.1 microns (the typical size of a virus).
Extraoral Suction System
Located in each operatory, this device captures aerosols and infectious material at the source with a suction adjacent to the patients mouth for immediate capture.
DryShield
This device performs all the tasks of a high-suction evacuator, bite block, tongue shield and oral pathway protector in one easy to use device. In addition to isolation, retraction and keeping the working environment clean, the DryShield system provides continuous suction to help control and reduce aerosols.
3Shape Trios Scanner
Digital impressions are a modern, efficient, and comfortable way to take precise impressions. This technology can make the experience more comfortable for any patient, especially those with a heightened gag reflex. The 3Shape Trios Scanner is less invasive than traditional impressions helping make your appointment more efficient.
Digital X-Rays
Each operatory is equipped with the latest Digital X-Ray Unit. Digital Radiographs have changed the way x-rays are taken by making the process faster, more comfortable, and more convenient than ever before. Digital X-rays use significantly less radiation than conventional film radiographs.
Intraoral Camera
Used within each operatory, the Intraoral Camera is used for early detection and accurate representation of dental conditions and to provide patients real-time images of clinical findings during their appointment.
CariVu
This device is a compact, caries detection device that uses technology to support the identification of lesions and cracks that are unable to be detected through digital x-rays.
DIAGNOdent
This device is a laser cavity detection system that can detect tooth decay before it is visible to the naked eye. It is a painless system which has shown to be 90% accurate in detecting decay even before digital x-rays at times.
Amenities:
Sonos System
Located in each operatory, the Sonos Music System is there to make you feel relaxed and comfortable with your choice of music during your appointment.
Warm Towels
We offer our patients a warm towel at the conclusion of their appointment to help feel refreshed after your time in our office.

Beverage Counter
While you are waiting for your appointment, we invite you to enjoy a cup of Nespresso Coffee or one of our bottled sparkling and/or still water.
FAQs
Many people have questions about their dental health and treatments. Here are our top Frequently Asked Questions! If you have further questions, or if you would like an appointment with Dr. TImothy M. Viner at our state of the art family dental office in Boca Raton, FL, call Viner Dental today at (561) 367-9922.
Why should I visit the dentist?
Many people only visit the dentist when they have a toothache thinking this will save money. However, fixing problems is often more costly in terms of time and money than scheduling routine visits where problems are caught early and are easier to treat.
Why do I need to floss?
Brushing your teeth cleans the surfaces of your teeth but will not touch the areas between the teeth or below the gumline. Flossing removes that plaque and bacteria from between your teeth before it causes damage.
How safe are dental X-rays?
We use digital dental X-rays which are extremely safe. In fact, you are exposed to less radiation with dental X-rays than you are in your day-to-day life from the sun. Advances in dentistry continue to make dental X-rays safer through digital imaging technologies and higher-speed X-rays.
What is gingivitis vs periodontal disease?
Gingivitis is inflammation and bleeding of the gums. Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, is disease that begins as gingivitis and affects the gums and supporting bone in your jaw. Both begin as a bacterial infection of the gums and progresses until it destroys your gums and bone structure. The milder stage of periodontal disease is known as gingivitis, while the more severe form of the disease is known as periodontitis.
What causes periodontal disease?
Periodontal disease is caused by the harmful bacteria trapped in plaque. As plaque hardens into calculus (tartar), the disease becomes more established in your mouth. Gum attachments begin to separate from your teeth and create pockets that harbor these harmful bacteria. If gum disease is left untreated, this condition may become irreversible. Perio disease is the number one cause of tooth loss in the world today.
What do I do if I have bad breath?
Halitosis (bad breath) may be caused by any number of factors, including:
- Morning Breath
- Poor Oral Hygiene
- Cavities
- Periodontal Disease
- Dry Mouth
- Tobacco Products
- Medical Conditions or Illnesses
- Dehydration, Hunger or Missed Meals
You can prevent bad breath by visiting Dr. Viner regularly, staying hydrated, practicing good oral hygiene, using mouth rinses and by not using tobacco products. If your halitosis persists, we recommend that you consult your physician to determine if your bad breath is caused by a medical condition and receive appropriate treatment.
